Antarabhava

a meditation on impermanence, mortality and

 journey of consiousness

ishti-35.jpg

Antarabhava is a multidisciplinary project on mortality, impermanence, and the journey of consciousness through performance, immersive installation, rituals, and community dialogue.

The work invites audiences to sit with often-avoided questions: How do we honor transitions? How do we care for the aging and dying? How do we hold space for grief? How can we live fully so we may die peacefully?
Rooted in research, ethnographic interviews, mourning food traditions, and Death Café–inspired conversations, the project explores alternative approaches to aging and end-of-life care while drawing from ancestral wisdom, nature, and diverse cultural practices.
